Front End Developer

OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To develop responsive front end solutions for web applications
  • To develop bug free UI interfaces and using the latest frameworks as well as custom solutions
  • Work with backend developers, UX/UI designers and production teams to produce impressive, user-centric and highly-polished user interfaces
  • Work with the broader FanHub team in understanding optimal technical solutions for current and prospective clients
  • Must be able to communicate technology ideas and issues with peers, IT, and management
  • Improving the quality of the codebase

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Clean code and solutions focused approach to development
  • Sound and in-depth understanding of JavaScript
  • Expertise in responsive web development

DESIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Experience using modern front-end frameworks (React, Backbone.js, AngularJS)
  • Experience using using CSS preprocessors
  • Strong all-round Front End development skills
  • Proficient with build and management tools e.g Git, webpack, grunt, gulp
  • Experience integrating APIs and XML/JSON data feeds in real-time environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot programming issues and bug fix
  • Exceptional time management and great attention to detail required
  • A knowledge of browser performance and page rendering best practices
  • Experience integrating third-party tagging and advertising libraries is a plus
  • Experience with different caching approaches is also a plus

Back End Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with frontend developers, app developers and production teams to produce efficient, robust, high performant API and data services to power internal and third-party applications
  • Assist with improving testing capabilities, CI methods, performance testing and caching solutions

As Account Manager a key part of the role will be focused on servicing our clients whilst guiding the rest of our team with best practice relationship building, communication & reporting processes & techniques. You will be involved in the end-to-end process of producing innovative, creative and digital projects within a team of passionate digital specialists. The role will involve growing existing accounts as well as extend to assisting with new business development.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • The ability to deliver a premium customer experience to a large group of tier one sporting clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the experience design and UX research component of FanHub projects, collaborate on the implementation of UI and ensure the vision is carried through to the end product.
  • Support FanHub Producers as the experience design advocate throughout the project lifecycle, by conducting research, subjecting designs to usability/user testing and/or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective
  • Lead ideation workshops and the creation of UX artifacts to help clients un-pack their vision, pain points and align this with customer centered design principles.
  • Be accountable for the quality and continuous improvement of experience design and UX Research at FanHub
  • Support FanHub’s Head of Product in devising and implementing the processes and systems required to support world class experience design at FanHub
  • Collaborate with the Product and Development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Create UI designs and assets required for development
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
